Some cool facts about production of movies that will blow your mind.

1) Movie trailers are not made by the movie companies themselves but by advertising agencies.

It’s really surprising though, but movie directors mostly hire special advertising companies to make most of the movie trailers for their movies. The reason is strictly for marketing purposes. Since the directors are not good at marketing, they allow the professionals take handle it.

2) Mirror scenes are one of the most
difficult scenes to make in movies
.
The reason is because a lot of things are taken into consideration. Since the scene’s are done near mirror, to avoid it’s reflex, it has to be made from special angles to cut off any reflections from both the camera and the lightings used.

3) Most movies that requires snow scenes contract a company who specialise in production of snow for movies.
The real snow itself is hard to work with as it melts before any reasonable scene is taken under the cameras. This is why the snow used in most films are artificial. The name of the snow company is ‘Snow Business’ and started operations in the 1980s. Their portfolio now includes more than 200 different types of snow for movie productions.

4) Ever noticed that extras featured in movies rarely look at the cameras?
Well, thats because extras can be fired for looking at the camera during filming.

5) Movies rarely use real food during filming.
Do you ever wonder why most characters in films rarely eat the superfluous food you see on the tables every time? That’s because most of the foods are made with materials you can’t eat. As they say, it’s all for the gram!
In Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone, the first Harry Potter movie, the food in the Great Hall always spoiled very quickly, this ensured that it had to be replaced over and over again.
After that, most foods in the next movies were made of resin.

6) Apple don’t allow movie villains use Apple iPhones. This was revealed by film director Rian Johnson.
“I don’t know if I should say this or not. Not ’cause it’s lascivious or something, but because it’s gonna screw me on the next mystery movie that I write. But forget it, I’ll say it, it’s very interesting.
Apple… they let you use iPhones in movies but — and this is very pivotal if you’re ever watching a mystery movie — bad guys cannot have iPhones on camera.”

This is because they think It will affect the Apple brand in a negative way.
