Coming off the back of his brace against Levante as well as a star performance in the Europa League, Samule Chukwueze extended his recent scoring exploits against the Catalan giants, FC Barcelona. Samuel Chukwueze has now scored 4 goals in 4 matches for the Yellow Submarines.
The Nigerian forward opened the scoring in a spectacular way, even Messi would have no option than to applaud for the young forward if not that Chukwueze is an opponent on the day.
But, what was more striking in resemblance, and which you may have missed was how he scored his goal against FC Barcelona. It was the exact type of goal which Messi has scored on numerous occasions, and which Barca fans have now gotten accustomed to.
At the 26th minute mark with the game still goalless, Pau Torres released Chukwueze through a well timed pass which the Nigerian controlled with extraordinary skill in Barca’s half. He dashed forward to meet Ster Stegen halfway, dribbled the German stopper in style and coolly slotted the ball into the back of the net.
