There has been speculations over the Dutchman’s continued stay at the Catalan club ever since the season ended. This was mostly because of the lackluster performances that saw Barca give away the League Title towards the end of the 2020/2021 campaign.
Many rumours have been circulating across the media space about the future of Ronald Koeman, with many wondering if the newly elected President, Joan Laporta will keep the former legend at Camp Nou since he didn’t sign him.
There were positive news some days back after Koeman and his representatives met the Barca board concerning the development in other to know the way forward. But, at the time, nothing was concrete.
However, the former Barca skipper and current gaffe can now go about preparing the team for next season after FC Barcelona confirmed that he will continue in his role as the club’s manager for the upcoming season.
FC Barcelona also took to Twitter to make the announcement saying – “Ronald will continue to be Barca manager next season.”
