La Liga has announced that it secured a lucrative arrangement with CVC, an investment company who has agreed to infuse €2.7billion into the league.
The deal will see FC Barcelona getting at least €270m financial reprieve as part of their share being one of the two biggest giants in the Spanish League.
The money is going to come in batches at the moment, but it’s enough to allow FC Barcelona register Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Eric Garcia and Emerson Royal with La Liga.
Barca has been in a financial mess for a while now, struggling to balance the books and register their new players. This has led to so many departures from the club and wage cuts. Many of their players were put on the transfer list to generate funds and cut costs.
The financial relief from La Liga seems to have solved all that problem for now. FC Barcelona is currently on a preseason tour and will be playing against Salzburg in their next match.
