Meet Diamond Tycoon Who Gifted 1,260 Cars, 400 Flats & Jewelry to his staff as Bonus

What if there is an organization that has created a bonus system which rewards employees yearly with an apartment, diamond jewelry thousands of cars for affording the enterprise their time?

Diamond magnata, Savji Dholakia actually did it in India.
Dholakia runs the diamond company, Hari Krishna Exports and has been known to be a very generous boss by his employees. He first made headlines in 2014 when he gifted 500 flats, 525 pieces of diamond jewelry and 200 cars to his employees.

The business mogul also repeated the same feat the following year, doubling the number achieved the previous year by increasing the reward recipients to 1,268 employees. In 2016 he gifted 1,260 cars and 400 flats to his staff in 2016.

When quizzed on the reason behind the massive generosity, he said –

“Our aim is that each employee must have his own home and car in the next five years. So we have decided to gift cars, homes and jewelry to employees,” he explained.

In 2017, Dholakia surprised his staff by gifting 1200 units of Datsun redi-GO to some employees on new year day.

But, apart from meeting targets, the Promoter of Hari Krishna Exports also rewards loyalty in a big way. He notably gifted Mercedes-Benz GLS 350d SUVs to three (3) employees for twenty-five (25) years of loyal service to the diamond company.

Dholakia was quoted as saying –

“These three employees had joined the company when they were around 13 or 15 years old. They started with learning to cut diamonds and polish it and now they are not only experts but most senior and one of the most trusted people of our company.” he said in reverence of the trio’s commitment and loyalty.
