Paris Saint Germaine continued their fine start to the season with another impressive win over English side, Manchester City.
The Paris based side opened scoring in the early hours of the game through Gana who powered a well timed effort into the back of the net to hand PSG the lead.
Although both teams threatened all through the night, it was Paris Saint Germaine who struck again in the late hours of the game to put the match out of reach for the English side.
Verati had picked up the ball from defense and drove forward before sighting Lionel Messi. As soon as he did, he squared off the ball to the Argentine who immediately started his trademark run to the oppositions half.
However, the other thing most people didn’t notice during the Messi run and his eventual goal is the Linesman who was following the counter by the corner. Apparently, he forgot the lines and went into the match as his concentration is fixed on Lionel Messi. This was shared by a Twitter user –
A one-two with Mbappe a few seconds later, and the ball was found in the back of the net from a lovely shot.
The goal is also Lionel Messi’s first goal for the French side.
