Ukrainian officials are now at the Belarusian border to negotiate with Russia according to reports. The Kiev delegation is reported to be in talks for “immediate ceasefire” and “withdrawal of troops” from the embattled region.
Earlier on, President Zelensky of Ukraine already said his country won’t shy away from peace talks with Russia and has stayed put in Ukraine even as allies allegedly offered to evacuate him from the country. According to reports,
“The Kiev delegation arrived at the Ukrainian-Belarusian border to hold talks with Russia,” the president’s office said through its official Telegram channel.
According to the statement –
“The key issue of the talks is an immediate ceasefire and withdrawal of troops from Ukraine,”
