Game of Thrones: HBO has released a 2022 premiere date for “House of the Dragon” sequel

The Warner Bros cable network, HBO has revealed that the Game of Thrones prequel series, “House of the Dragon”  will premiere on August 21, 2022.

The announcement was shared through the official “House of the Dragon” Twitter account. The news was also accompanied by set photos of actors who will star in the widely anticipated show.

House of the Dragon is an adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood” epic novel. It will be a ten-episode HBO series set 200 years before the events of Game of Throne and will focus on the rise of the Targaryen’s.

House of the Dragon stars Paddy Considine ( King Viserys I Targaryen) and Emma D’Arcy (Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen).

Others include – Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoyo Mizuno, Fabien Frankel, Graham McTavish, Ryan Corr, Jefferson Hall, etc.
