After the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship election loss yesterday, dissatisfied citizens apparently angry at the ruling party made mockery of their candidates.

The netizens took to the street, climbed on top the billboard with the image of APC governorship & presidential candidates, and tore it to pieces as they mocked them.

They can be heard saying “Emi lokan” repeatedly. This statement was used by APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to express that while he had given other rulers several chances, and helped them into elective positions, it is now his turn to rule as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Therefore, emilokan means “it is my turn”.

However, the destruction and mockery shows that Nigerians think otherwise and will do everything necessary to make sure the so called “Bobo Chicago” does not smell Aso Rock.
